Big Brother 23 Spoilers: Who Won The Veto, And Will It Be Used In Week 3?

Big Brother Season 23 cast

Warning! The following contains spoilers for Big Brother Season 23 based on live feed information. Read at your own risk!

Big Brother Season 23 is in Week 3, and with Xavier Prather as the Head of Household, it seemed like it was going to be a low-key week. That hasn't been the case necessarily, thanks to some tension amongst Xavier and another member of The Cookout, which was based on a difference of opinion on how to proceed based on the week's target.

For those unaware, Brent Champagne and Britini D'Angelo are currently on the block. One of them could be saved following the veto competition, but will it actually happen? Let's get into who won the veto, the current tension in the house, and whether or not this week's veto winner will actually use it to take someone off the block.

Christian Birkenberger Won The Power Of Veto

Christian Birkenberger has won his second competition of Big Brother Season 23, with the first one happening when he won safety in the Wildcard Competition. Now, he's a veto winner and one that Xavier Prather is happy about, considering it was overheard on the live feeds that Xavier picked him for the competition. This would imply Xavier believes Christian will honor his wishes as Head of Household, and I have no reason to doubt he will.

The Current House Situation

As previously mentioned, Brent Champagne and Britini D'Angelo are up on the block, and some folks aren't happy. Granted, no one is that upset about Brent's nomination (not even his own team, the Aces), but Britini's second nomination in the past two weeks, even if she is a pawn, greatly angered her Jokers teammate Azah Awasum. Azah previously spoke to Xavier Prather about offering to be a pawn in Britini's place and became very upset when Xavier refused to put her up instead.

To clarify, Britini is the pawn, but that could certainly change should Brent be pulled from the block. After all, Azah is aware that the Aces are secretly in on the plan to get their teammate Brent out so, while those in the house are saying Whitney Williams would be the nomination option if Brent were to come down, Xavier would probably sooner protect Whitney over Britini. That probably wouldn't happen if Azah was on the block against Whitney, so it seemed like Azah was trying to hold Xavier to his word on keeping loyal while still saving her teammate Britini in the process.

Will Christian Use The Power Of Veto?

Christian Birkenberger knows Xavier Prather doesn't want the veto to be used, and he has no reason to betray his ally on the Kings. As for Azah Awasum's anger, she may cool off knowing that Brent Champagne will almost certainly leave the house and Britini D'Angelo will live to fight for Head of Household yet again. Hopefully, she'll find some safety in Week 4, or I would very much expect her to see the block yet again.

As for what comes after, it will be interesting to see if Azah's anger at Xavier will put The Cookout alliance at risk. That means Tiffany Mitchell could be at risk, which would be a huge twist given she was at the safest position in the house days before. We can only wait and see!
