It’s been a big year for body positivity, as brands like Victoria’s Secret said goodbye to their famous Angels and adding Megan Rapinoe and women of all shapes and sizes to their branding. On social media, as more people spent more time at home, celebrities also got more comfortable with going make-up free, choosing to roll pants-free, or sometimes ditching clothing entirely. World of Dance’s former host and The Rookie newcomer Jenna Dewan recently joined the latter group, opting to go nude as a bit of a “self love” pick me up.
The famous dancer, mom and former reality host took to Instagram this week to share a photo post from what looks to be a steamy bath with a great view. Jenna Dewan is completely nude in the images, first giving us a look at her back and then a second look at her overall sculpted form. She looks great and, from her posts she seems to have been enjoying a really wonderful day.
She captioned the post to mention “self love” and plenty of other celebrities were happy that Jenna Dewan has jumped on the body positivity train. Christina Milian commented, noting “wow, yes” while Kate Bosworth simply said, “Damn girl, gorgeous.” Other famous names, including Rumer Willis, simply captioned their responses with fire emojis.
Jenna Dewan isn’t typically one to share a look at herself in the tub, but a separate post to her Instagram Story does mention that the beautiful big tub, the beautiful big bathroom and the amazing view were all her “literal self-care dream.” It seems she really just wanted to be in the moment and share the moment with her friends and followers.
It’s kind of been a year+ of self-love for Jenna Dewan, who wasn’t super active during the pandemic. Her 2021 TV credits include an appearance on The Rookie (which oddly given the subject of this story did feature her in a towel), but she hasn’t been filling her plate with a bunch of acting gigs. While The Rookie gig set her character up to stick around into Season 4, in recent months she’s been spending a lot of time with her husband Steve Kazee and her two children, one of whom she shares with ex-husband Channing Tatum.
There’s been a lot of focus on home and family… and even the occasional photo of her husband in the tub.
Jenna Dewan is no longer a part of World of Dance, but now that the world is opening back up, hopefully we’ll see her acting and dancing on the small screen a bit more. The good news, she seems happy, healthy and in a great place with herself and her home life. Now, I just hope she got to enjoy that epic tub and view more than once.
