Of all the Kardashian-Jenners, Kourtney Kardashian is the one who veers from the beaten path most often. Of late, her close friendship with 20-year-old TikTok star Addison Rae has been a bit of a head-scratcher, but not as much as the revelation of Kardashian’s relationship with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. Now all points seem to be converging, as Rae weighs in on the steamy romance of her reality star bestie.

From the outside looking in, fans have been living for the apparent yin-yang relationship between Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. She’s short, infamously all-naturale and the eldest sis of a pretty controversial family, while he’s the tatted-up rocker with his own rocky past. It sounds like the makings of a good movie and one that Addison Rae can’t wait for. When asked about the romance, Rae told ET Online:

I'm obsessed. I'm obsessed. I love Kourtney and I love Travis, they're both amazing people and I wish them the best. They're so cute.

Even though Addison Rae is clearly a fan of the two, the Kourtney Kardashian-Travis Barker romance is shocking to a lot of people because of how openly in love they've been on social media. Kardashian is the notoriously calm and unemotional one of her family, so it’s more than a little surprising to see her tattooing “I love you” on Barker’s arm or being locked in some serious PDA with him, after only a few months of dating. Reports indicate that Kardashian’s family is also shocked because "they’ve never seen her like this before."

But Kourtney Kardashian doesn’t seem to care too much about what her family thinks, given how much they goof around at her expense. On a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian went so far as to grill Addison Rae if she was “hooking up” with Kourtney. But Rae doesn’t seem to mind their barbing too much either. She said about the reality TV family:

I think the entire family has always been so sweet to me and so loving and caring, just giving me advice on how to keep my spirits up especially in the tough times that come with, you know, kind of being under pressure in the spotlight sometimes. But they're all amazing, I love the Kardashian family so much.

At least Addison Rae had the wise and sage advice of the Kardashian family during her own recent controversy. The first one being her stint teaching Jimmy Fallon TikTok dances on The Tonight Show, which was met with backlash. The second being when fans lambasted the viral TikToker for seemingly comparing herself to Britney Spears. And the Kardashian-Jenners have weathered worse and more frequent storms than that.

I guess the degree of separation is real. A viral Gen-Z TikToker can really be two degrees away from Travis Barker.
