Of Course, Kim Kardashian Took TikTok Dance Lessons From Addison Rae

Kim Kardashian and Addison Rae

Kim Kardashian has been quite busy as of late, seeing as she’s currently in the process of divorcing her estranged husband, Kanye West. Although the divorce proceedings appear to be progressing at a relatively smooth pace, the reality TV star is facing a “new norm” and is reportedly trying to adjust. But in her downtime, she’s apparently found solace in spending time with her friends and family. This includes TikTok star Addison Rae, who is (of course) giving Kardashian dance lessons on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

If you’ve been keeping up with the news for the past few weeks, then you probably know who Addison Rae is. She’s one of the most widely-followed TikTokers, known for her dance videos. She did, however, find herself in a bit of hot water when she recently appeared on The Tonight Show and performed popular dances originated by other TikTokers.

Aside from the controversy though, Addison Rae has also become friends with Kourtney Kardashian and as a result, is currently a fixture on the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It was only a matter of time before Rae shared her dance tips with the famous family, and a recently released KUWTK clip reveals that very thing. In the video, Rae shows Kim Kardashian a few steps, though she’s not quite able to get the hang of things. Check out her attempts for yourself down below:

Well, I guess we can give Kim Kardashian an A for effort… right? She does seem to be having a lot of fun while she attempts a few dance moves, though. One we can say for certain is that Khloe Kardashian was having plenty of fun watching her sister attempt to master those dance moves. It kind of makes you wish sister Kourtney would have been around as well to provide a one-liner or two.

Although the season was likely shot a while ago, it’s hard not to make note of the timing of the clip, as it arrives when Addison Rae is just coming off the backlash from her Tonight Show performance. The routine saw her emulate a number of notable TikTok dances, including Mya Johnson and Chris Cotter’s “Up” dance challenge. Many across the internet were upset that both Rae and Jimmy Fallon did not credit the TikTokers on air, and Rae later apologized and praised her fellow TikTokers. Fallon also welcomed all of the referenced TikTokers to the show virtually so that they could perform their dances.

Since the controversy, Addison Rae has been taking it easy, especially since she’s also coming off a breakup with fellow internet personality Bryce Hall. She recently stated that after having been in a number of relationships over the years, she’s planning to take some time to “focus on me.”

It’s a safe bet that part of that downtime involves spending time with the Kardashian family, and she may still be attempting to teach Kim some more moves. Whether she finally nails them remains to be seen, but at least it all amounts to some quality time among friends.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PST on E!.
