SEAL Team's Jason Will Reconsider His Role As Leader When Season 4 Returns

SEAL Team showed Jason beat the case against him in the most recent episode, but Bravo Team isn't out of the woods just yet. The next episode is set to be a doozy as the crew heads back out, and it's going to cause a lot of questions for a lot of people. This includes Jason, who will once again reconsider his role within the team.

Bravo Team is headed to the coast of Africa in "Rearview Mirror," and with that mission comes some real questions for Jason. Based on the synopsis below, it sounds like he won't be the only one with some decisions to make.

Jason’s visit with a former teammate causes him to reevaluate his role as team leader. Also, several Bravo members grapple with their personal relationships when Command sends them on an unexpected mission to the coast of Africa.

As we learned in the short trailer released as SEAL Team went on its brief hiatus, Bravo Team will be under a microscope for the next eight weeks. That means every little thing that's not above the line may be exposed, which isn't exactly great news for some of the members.

Specifically, I'm assuming that Sonny and Lisa are in greater danger of having their relationship exposed than they ever were before. Perhaps then it's a blessing in disguise that Lisa is having second thoughts about a romantic relationship with Sonny after she admitted it was tough for her to handle the fact that he had a relationship with the soon-to-be mother of his child. The two may be forced to call things off should command get word of the relationship, which would certainly be a bummer if they work things out.

SEAL Team also revealed that Ray hasn't been too honest with his wife Naima in the time since he's returned from his capture, to the point that it wasn't even clear she knew he'd been captured. She tried to grab his hands in that episode, and he pulled away out of reflex, which made things a little more tense between them. The trailer for "Rearview Mirror" showed things get a little more physical in another upcoming scene with the two, which could result in something bad happening to Ray if someone witnessed it and reported it.

Circling back to Jason, it is a bit weird that SEAL Team has already had Jason leave, return, get arrested and barred from Bravo Team, and we've now come full circle back to where he's seemingly questioning whether or not he's right for command. It's really hard to say which way Jason will lean because, frankly, this season has thrown a lot at its audiences. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Jason stepped aside and let someone else lead Bravo going forward.

SEAL Team airs on CBS Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. ET. However things shake out for Bravo Team, I'm just hoping that Jason Hayes can get his head on straight and finally figure out what exactly he wants to be for the sake of his squad.
