Jake Paul Accused Of Sexual Assault By TikTok Star Justine Paradise

Jake Paul on his YouTube channel

Jake Paul, known to many for his heavy presence on YouTube and MMA fights, has been accused of sexual assault. The allegations come from TikTok star Justine Paradise, who accused Paul of forcing her to perform oral sex on him at his Team 10 house in California. Recently, Paradise posted a lengthy video in which she laid out her claims against the YouTube star.

The 24-year-old Jake Paul's legal representation has responded to the claims from Justine Paradise. On Paul's behalf, his attorney, Daniel E. Gardenswartz, released a statement in which he states that Paul denies the allegation and intends to pursue legal action "against those responsible for the defamation of his character":

Our client is aware of the recent allegation against him. While others have already begun to debunk the claim alleged against him, our client categorically denies the allegation and has every intention of aggressively disproving it and pursuing legal action against those responsible for the defamation of his character. Our client believes that any false allegations diminish the credibility of those who have truly been victims of misconduct.

In a 20-minute video posted to YouTube on Friday, April 9, Justine Paradise says she initially met Jake Paul during the summer of 2019 after a mutual friend invited her to his house. The 24-year-old Paradise claims that once she arrived at the house, she was required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The TikToker says that up until recently, she believed she could not discuss the alleged incident because “if you sign an NDA, you're signing away your rights to talk about anything basically.”

Justine Paradise says she and Jake Paul exchanged numbers during their initial meeting and, from there, she alleges that they texted each and hung out at his house on several occasions over the next few weeks. Paradise then alleged that during one of those days at the studio, Paul pulled her aside and began to kiss her:

One of those days, I was in the studio, some people were recording down there, and Jake pulled me into this little corner area in the studio and started kissing me. I was fine with that. I did think he was cute. I did want to kiss him.

According to Justine Paradise, Jake Paul eventually took her by the hand and led her to his bedroom, where she says they talked and began “ballroom dancing.” Though Paradise says the mood changed when Paul “took it to his bed” and allegedly began to put his hands in places she did not want to. Paradise said she would move his hands away, which led Paul to allegedly ask, "If nothing's going to happen, what's the point?"

Justine Paradise then claims that after rejecting another advance, Jake Paul got on top of her, undid his pants and allegedly forced her to perform oral sex. Paradise stated in her video that Paul did not ask for consent:

He didn't ask for consent or anything. That's not okay. On no level at all is that okay.

Paradise went on to say that after the day of the alleged incident, she tried to reach out to Jake Paul in an attempt to “to talk to him and tell him, 'Hey, I didn't consent for this. It made me feel so awful.” However, Justine Paradise claims Paul never responded to her text messages. She also expressed sadness over not having received an apology:

I never got an apology or anything like that. I would have liked to have an apology because that was messed up, and I didn't want that.

Justine Paradise also shared a TikTok video on Friday in which she explained her reasoning for discussing the allegations. She says that despite the possibility that she could receive hate for her claims against Jake Paul, she believes it’s “necessary to share this information with everybody, so it could maybe like, it could save someone that could be in my position in the future.”
