Public speculation of potential celebrity divorces is nothing new, and the rumors of a split between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been steadily growing for months now. The latest report on the pair asserts West “is not doing so well” amidst the swirling rumors that the divorce is imminent.
Kanye is not doing well. He is anxious and very sad. He knows that the marriage is over, and there's nothing that can be done right now. He also knows what he is losing in Kim.
Even more noteworthy was the deafening silence from both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's social media accounts on Valentine's Day last weekend. On the holiday dedicated to love, neither Kardashian nor West took the time to show a united front to the world or even bother with an obligatory “I love my spouse of the last six years” post. Heck, even Kourtney Kardashian recently made her relationship Instagram-official with drummer Travis Barker.
In fact, on the day after Valentine's, Kim Kardashian posted a pic on the beach of herself with sister Kourtney Kardashian with a caption about the "thin line between love and hate.” Was the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star just playfully joking about sibling rivalry, or alluding to her relationship with Kanye West?
It is no secret that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been struggling of late. West’s bid for president of the United States had many heads scratching and, eventually, jaws dropping when he spoke at rallies about Kardashian. At the time, Kardashian made a statement on Instagram that addressed their struggles and West’s battle with bipolar disorder. Kardashian said,
[Kanye] is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder. Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with his intentions.
The global pandemic alone is enough to have had most people struggling this past year. But to couple that with a presidential loss and mounting divorce rumors, it is easy to believe that Kanye West really isn't doing so well. Stay tuned to CinemaBlend for more developments in the story.
