Spoilers ahead for the Double Elimination Night of Dancing with the Stars Season 29 on ABC.

Dancing with the Stars picked up the pace from Villains Night last week for what was supposed to be Double Elimination, but Jeannie Mai's last-minute surgery means that she joins the ranks of DWTS celebs who had to drop out of competition early. Mai's departure meant that the stakes were a little less high for the remaining pairs, and Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause hit the stage with pro partner Gleb Savchenko to try and last another week. After watching their waltz, fans had some issues with it.

Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko danced a Viennese waltz to Rihanna's "Love on the Brain," complete with a bed on stage. One prevailing opinion about their dance -- from the judges as well as viewers! -- is that their performance was sexy and sensual. Unfortunately for them, however, there is another popular opinion after their waltz, and it's a lot less complimentary. Perhaps it's no surprise that they were sent home this week!

Many viewers on social media weren't in love with how Gleb Savchenko choreographed the dance and what Chrishell Stause did with it. Suffice it to say that some viewers probably would have scored them a lot lower than their initial 24! Take a look:

While the bed used in the opening and then closing of the dance added sensuality for "Love on the Brain," it also took up a surprising amount of their dance time. I'm no dance pro, but I can imagine that there's a time and a place for a crab crawl, and this Viennese waltz may not have been it. This person lays most of the blame on Gleb Savchenko for his choreography than on Chrishell Stause, and they're not alone.

It's never a good sign when somebody busts out the clown emoji, but this person clearly felt it was necessary when Gleb choreographed a crab crawl rather than a different move. Chrishell did spend a surprising amount of her Viennese waltz on the floor or bed rather than her feet, although I'm glad it's because of the choreography and not because she suffered an injury on par with what happened to Cheryl Burke just last week.

In case you need a fun visual following this episode of Dancing with the Stars, just imagine Chrishell dressed like a Swiffer sweeper rather than wearing her dazzling dress! Many people on Twitter seem to believe that Chrishell is at least a solid dancer, with a lot of the criticism leveled at Gleb.

Despite the criticisms against Gleb's choreography, Chrishell had some detractors as well for not showing off her moves. As one Dancing with the Stars viewer put it after watching the "Love on the Brain" waltz:

Another person had even less complimentary words for Chrishell's contributions to the waltz, although Gleb was not left out of the criticism. In fact, the judges are even brought into the complaint this time around:

The Viennese waltz to "Love on the Brain" wasn't the only chance Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko had to show off their moves in what was supposed to be the Double Elimination night. There were dance relays for bonus points in the second hour of the episode, with Chrishell and Gleb doing the cha-cha up against Nev Schulman/Jenna Johnson and Nelly/Daniella Karagach, and they earned two bonus points for their trouble. Combined with the score with the waltz, Chrishell and Gleb scored 26.

That 26 combined with votes from viewer weren't enough to keep Chrishell and Gleb in the running for the mirrorball trophy. They wound up in the bottom two for the first time, along with Skai Jackson and Alan Bersten, and the judges unanimously decided to save Skai and Alan. This was the end of the road for Chrishell and Gleb.

See who stays and who goes next on Dancing with the Stars, with new episodes airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. If you're in the market for some additional viewing options now and in the coming weeks, check out our 2020 fall TV premiere schedule!
