90 Day Fiance's Deavan Clegg Lashes Out Following Backlash Of Photo With New Boyfriend

Deavan Clegg 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way TLC

Warning! The following contains spoilers for Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Read at your own risk!

While 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way and TLC tries its best not to spoil fans on the outcomes of their subjects' relationship status in the present, it's hard to ignore the recent stuff from Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee. After a couple of months of weird exchanges on social media, Jihoon finally confirmed they split and that Deavan is with a new man in America.

Deavan Clegg tried to remain silent about the situation on her end, but fans were able to identify that new man as actor and model Topher Park. While Deavan hasn't explicitly confirmed the relationship, she has slowly but surely been dropping more breadcrumbs on social media that he's a part of her life. The latest of these came in the form of a picture, in which a man who appeared to be Topher was seen matching outfits with Deavan and Jihoon's son, Taeyang.

The picture drew criticism from fans 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, some of whom aware of the most current drama between Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee involving Taeyang. Deavan has made vague messages on Instagram that Jihoon wants nothing to do with their son, a fact that Jihoon has since vehemently denied. Some saw the decision to dress Taeyang like Topher Park as disrespectful, given the circumstances and supposed newness of the relationship.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way still has not shown the reason for the collapse of Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee's relationship, though there have been clear issues from the start. After seeing the comments on the post, Deavan lashed out at those criticizing her and once again re-iterated that the things her estranged husband is saying on social media are not true:

I’m just going to say something... I’m blocked on social media, my number is blocked. I’ve reached out sent photos of my son with no replies. I’ve tried and offered to come to Korea. I’m sick of being blamed when I’m the one trying to co-parent. I was told several times to just pretend it never happened because that’s what this certain person wants. I’m the one who paid for all the hospital bills, I’m the one who paid for everything in Korea, I’m the one still supporting my son with no help. I’m the one doing everything so why I’m I being attacked? Because I moved on? Because I was tired of being used and not getting any help in return? I tried and this person has said some vile things about my son and has blocked anyway of me getting in contact to even send photos of my son? But yet you guys attack me? You don’t know what happened behind close doors you don’t know the type of evil that happened. I’m sick of being attacked and blamed and being told I’m horrible person and I took my son away. You guys don’t know the half of it. My daughter is healing and I’m healing. Wait till the Tell All I’m tired of this. Something bad happened that can never be forgiven. I tried to co-parent but that’s kind of hard to do when the other person has deleted any type of way to get in contact. Also kind of difficult when the only time he contacts you is to call you degrading vile names. He’s told me time and time again he just wants to pretend it didn’t happen and has called me, my son, Drascilla vile things. I’m done I’m sick of the lies I’m sick of pretending it’s okay I’m done.

It's unclear if future episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way will provide more insight on what happened or why Deavan Clegg left South Korea to return to America in July and did not return. Deavan's mother, Elicia Clegg, did say the couple wasn't breaking up prior to Jihoon confirming the news, so one could speculate that the split happened when the two were in separate countries. For now, we can only wait for the series to return and possibly continue to see what clues surface from the two's social media accounts.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way returns to TLC Sunday, October 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more updates on the franchise, and for the latest happening in television and movies.
