Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Welcome Baby Boy Into The World

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in an interview

England's Royal Family has been capturing the world's attention for decades, and things certainly haven't slowed down recently. The past few years have brought plenty of news in the form of Royal Weddings, with pregnancies and royal babies arriving shortly thereafter. Following Kate Middleton's two princes and one princess, all eyes focused on American actress-turned-royal Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle's courtship and royal wedding to Prince Harry was been closely followed by the general public, as was Markle's pregnancy. While the news had been largely kept under wraps, Prince Harry just announced that the couple has welcomed a baby boy into their world.

This exciting news comes from Prince Harry himself, who made a statement to the press shortly after he and Meghan Markle became parents for the first time. With a smile on his face, Harry opened up about the exciting turn of events, saying:

This little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It’s been the most amazing experience I can ever possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, and we’re both absolutely thrilled.

And just like that, the world has a new royal baby to obsess over and possibly turn into a meme. Just look at Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who have both become the subject of endless memes.

Prince Harry addressed the press outside of the royal couple’s residence near Windsor Castle. While he didn't reveal the new bundle of joy's name, the baby's birth and sex are reason enough to get the public excited. Meghan Markle's ascension from American actress to royal by marriage has been closely followed by folks on both side of the pond, as has her very public pregnancy.

It should be fascinating to see what name Harry and Meghan decide on for their new baby boy. There's usually a great deal of anticipation among the reveal of royal baby names, and that certainly applies in this situation. Will the couple pick a classic name from the Royal Family's history. With Netflix's The Crown doing a deep dive of the family's history, namesakes won't go unnoticed.

Just look at that smile. While being a Prince is probably a sweet gig, Harry's joy at being a new father is palpable in the video clip.

There have already been some rumors regarding the new royal baby's possible name. The three names that were floating around are Prince Arthur, Prince James, Prince Alexander. Any of those names will send the internet ablaze, although it's unclear when that information might be shared to the general public.

While the name remains a mystery, some of the baby's specifics have been revealed. Specifically, that the newcomer was welcomed to the world at 7lbs 3oz. What's more, the rest of the Royal Family is reportedly delighted to hear the news.

Meghan Markle's ascension to British Royalty hasn't been an easy one, especially when it comes to her family. Markle's father Thomas has been at the center of controversy since before the Royal Wedding. He didn't attend the event, and has continued speaking to the media since first coming to public attention.

Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha has been even more passionate in the media, attempting to give her side to their family dynamic as well as Meghan herself. And as the new baby boy becomes the center of conversation, we'll see if the Markle family ends up speaking to the press again in the near future.

Congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Now's the time for the public to wait on a name.
