Get ready to have your mind effectively wiped of all knowledge of Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, because there’s a new archer in town. And no, it’s not Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop… yet. I’m talking about Captain Marvel star Brie Larson, who has just taken up archery and looks absolutely badass with a bow and arrow in her muscled-up arms.

Brie Larson shared her latest hobby on social media and it’s showing up Hawkeye’s greatest strength. The actress is seriously giving the hero a run for his money with these photos of her on a field shooting the target:

The Carol Danvers actress donned a Celiné sports bra and some blue jeans as she shared her latest “hobby” and the progress she’s made with it. The first shot of her shows some seriously defined muscles in her arms, shoulders and back. I mean, she does have to stay in shape to continue to be one of the most powerful heroes in the MCU.

Brie Larson is currently proving that she can do it all. She’s gained traction this year as a YouTube personality, along with starting a podcast with her good friend Jessie Ennis called “Learning Lots.” In the middle of that, Larson has been training hard for the upcoming second Captain Marvel movie, which is set to be called The Marvels. Every so often, the actress takes to social media to share her progress on the workout front, and it’s seriously impressive.

This woman cannot be stopped! Brie Larson also recently shared her ability to nail some one-armed pull ups too. She’s really living the character’s catchphrase “higher, further, faster” baby! Part of being one of the few major Marvel players is inspiring others, and as heroes like Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr phase out of the universe, she is showing off how much being active can really pay off!

The Marvels will see Captain Marvel reuniting with Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau as a grown-up after we watched the character become a hero in her own right in WandaVision. The movie will also showcase Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, who has a TV show introducing her later this year. Production for The Marvels looks to be underway, even with Samuel L. Jackson back as Nick Fury.

Brie Larson’s last MCU appearance dates back to 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, when she helped the rest of the Avengers fight off Thanos and help the other half of the universe return. On the Hawkeye front, Jeremy Renner will be back in the role for the Disney+ series Hawkeye, which will premiere on November 24. The show will see Clint Barton showing Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop the Hawkeye ropes... you know, unless Brie Larson gets to her first.
