Given how popular the comic book genre is, a number of acclaimed actors have found themselves in tights and capes. Oscar winner Brie Larson is no exception, with the actress gearing up to once again play Captain Marvel in Nia DaCosta’s The Marvels. And her latest workout video makes me scared for the MCU’s villains.

Brie Larson debuted as Carol Danvers in the first Captain Marvel movie, with the character being one of the most powerful heroes in the entire MCU. Larson has been open about how getting physically fit helps her to become the character and embody her strength, and she’s been sharing a ton of wild workouts ahead of filming The Marvels. You can see the latest below.

What a badass. Brie Larson has been putting in the work to be her strongest when finally returning to the MCU, and each update shows another intense exercise. We’ll just have to see how these efforts pay off when The Marvels arrives in theaters.

The above video comes to us from Brie Larson’s personal Twitter page. Larson is super active on social media, often using platforms like Insta to reveal her latest Captain Marvel workout. The Scott Pilgrim actress invested in a massive home gym, and it’s clear she’s been getting her money’s worth over the past year.

Marvel fans can re-watch Brie Larson’s time in the MCU so far on Disney+. You can use this link to sign up for the streaming service.

In the video of Brie Larson, she’s really not holding back on just how difficult her workout is. You can hear her struggling through each rep, all while being encouraged by her trainer. So while The Marvels will presumably feature major villains, it certainly looks like Larson is going to be able to hold her own.

There’s a ton of questions and anticipation surrounding The Marvels. As the movie’s title suggests, Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel won’t be the only hero factoring into the narrative. She’ll be paired with WandaVision’s Monica Rambeau, as well as Kamala Khan/ Ms. Marvel. The latter character will debut in her own Disney+ series ahead of jumping to the big screen.

Black Widow is in theaters now, and Shang-Chi will arrive on September 3rd. In the meantime, check out the 2021 movie release dates to plan your next movie experience.
