The Marvel Cinematic Universe is always expanding, but the property is in a particularly interesting place in the wake of the Infinity Saga. Fans are eager to see the directions the property as a whole will go, and Phase Four’s shows on Disney+ have certainly been teasing that the multiverse will be a major plot point. And now some epic Marvel fan art has brought together said universe, including some major fan theories.

Because Black Widow was delayed a full year, Marvel fans have had extra time to theorize about what might be coming in projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home. And while we wait for official word about the studio’s plans for the future, epic fan art has brought Loki and Scarlet Witch together with rumored characters like the Fantastic Four. Check it out below.

Do you hear that? It’s the sound of comic book fans out there losing their collective minds. While it’s unclear how many of the concepts shown in the image above will actually make it to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I can’t help but be excited for the future of Phase Four and beyond.

The above image comes to us from the Instagram of digital artist Aitesam Farooq. Their account has over 170k followers at the time of writing, with his work often going viral thanks to involving beloved characters from franchises like Star Wars or the MCU. And the above piece shows the potential for the future of Marvel’s massive franchise.

Marvel fans can re-watch the MCU so far on Disney+. You can use this link to sign up for the streaming service.

There’s a lot to unpack in the fan art. In it we see a few familiar faces, including Scarlet Witch, both Visions, Loki and Sylvie. These characters all made a splash on the small screen, and fans are excited to see them back in movies. They’re joined by a number of other characters who fans have theorized might pop up in future installments.

For example, we see Emily Blunt and John Krasinki as Sue Storm and Mr. Fantastic. Fantastic Four villain Dr. Doom is also seen at the bottom left. After Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, fans began theorizing about those characters joining the MCU. We can also see three versions of Spider-Man as well as Daredevil, all of which are rumored for Jon WattsSpider-Man: No Way Home. Finally, we see Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror in the bottom right corner.

With the multiverse seemingly on the table for Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the storytelling possibilities are pretty endless. Only time will tell what comes next, but clearly there are a ton of theories about what’s coming next.

Black Widow is in theaters now, so the next installment in the MCU is Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings on September 3rd. In the meantime, check out the 2021 movie release dates to plan your next movie experience.
