You’ve got to respect a bold flirty move and Drew Barrymore just went for it. Sort of. The actress and host of The Drew Barrymore Show took to the comment section of Leonardo DiCaprio’s Instagram to casually remind the actor how “hot” he is before editing her response to go with something a bit more lowkey. Go Drew, go!

Hey, this year Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back together and Taika Waititi was famously part of playful ‘throuple’ rumors with Tessa Thompson and Rita Ora so, if there’s any time to roll the dice it’s during hot vax summer! Though this was an interesting place to shoot her shot. Here's the post she commented on:

Drew Barrymore’s flirting was harmless and super smooth, though. Here’s what she posted on Instagram in response to Leonardo DiCaprio’s recent climate change post:

You should be the only hot one, and not our planet.

The comment has since been replaced with Drew Barrymore thanking the Oscar winner for being a “pioneer of saving our earth,” but come on, we have to appreciate Drew Barrymore going there. It's basically a fact, isn't it? Leonardo DiCaprio has been a big Hollywood heartthrob since playing Jack Dawson in Titanic.

If anything, Drew Barrymore certainly put more attention on Leonardo DiCaprio’s message about the dire climate crisis we are facing as Earthlings. The actor mostly devotes his entire account to bringing attention to important issues on our planet and in this one he shared that we are "rapidly approaching irreversible climate tipping points" that he hopes will be addressed during this November’s United Nations Climate Conference.

Drew Barrymore and Leonardo DiCaprio are the same age and have a bit in common. Both of them were born and raised in Los Angeles, California and started their careers as child actors before continuing into their adulthood with even bigger fame. The two actors share the same movie credit on 1992’s Poison Ivy where Barrymore played the lead and DiCaprio played a supporting character named Guy.

Drew Barrymore has two kids and finalized a divorce with third husband Will Kopelman back in 2016. Leonardo DiCaprio one the other hand has never been married and does not have kids but has shared many romances. At present, DiCaprio has reportedly been dating Argentine-American model Camila Morrone since 2017.

Let’s not read too much into this playful Instagram comment, though. DiCaprio and Barrymore might be friends and she was being flattering to the actor. It’s especially fun to see actors interact with each other over social media.

While Drew Barrymore is not planning on being on a movie set as she continues her daytime show, Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in Don’t Look Up with Jennifer Lawrence later this year along with his next Martin Scorsese collaboration, Killers of the Flower Moon. Anyway, this is your sign to respectfully shoot your shot (if you’re single of course).
